The Economic and Business Engagement Center staff and Southeast Missouri State University faculty collaborate to provide research and analysis to a wide range of projects and initiatives. Several of these projects have earned awards and recognition, including the National Association of Development Organizations Innovation Award. These projects have also helped numerous organizations in securing grant funds based on the findings.

Provides detailed insight and understanding of what each rural Missouri region’s main strengths, challenges, and opportunities are in relation to fostering a stronger entrepreneurial ecosystem.
FEASIBILITY STUDIES
Provides businesses and communities with a solid basis for judging the viability of a proposed project beforehand saving them time, money, and resources.
RETAIL TRADE ANALYSES
Informs communities about their local sales, help them assess their strengths and weaknesses, and compare their sales to other similar communities in their region.
